We had two Western Tiger Swallowtails visit our garden at the same time this week. One of them moved on quickly, but the other hung around the lavender cone flowers for quite awhile and let me take a few photographs from different angles. I was even able to catch it in flight. A few days later, the swallowtail came back, so I took more photographs, and added them to the collection. I think the very last photograph is a skipper of some sort.
