In March 2025, we took an 18-day tour of Patagonia—an area of South America that is not precisely defined, but that is essentially the southern half of Argentina and Chile. We started in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Next, we visited the lakes region of Bariloche before crossing the Andes and traveling to Puerto Varas and Chiloé Island in Chile. We then spent several days exploring Chile’s crown jewel—Torres del Paine National Park. From there we went to El Calafate, Argentina, to visit Los Glaciares National Park, and finally we took a one-day trip to El Chalten in an attempt to see Cerro Fitz Roy. The following photographs do not represent the entirety of our trip. Rather, they portray the areas that were, to me, the most visually interesting and least forgettable.
